WOOD WASTE TO HELP SHROPSHIRE CHARITY

When a call came in for timber offcuts for the woodwork room at local brain injury charity Shropshire Headway we jumped at the chance to help.

We’re always looking at ways to make the most of our timber off cuts and what better way to use up recyclable material than building bird boxes.

The donated timber will go straight to the woodworking room at the Shropshire Headway branch, where clients will create the bird boxes to give to family and friends as gifts.

Headway is a UK-wide charity which works to improve people’s lives after sustaining a brain injury. It has a network of more than 125 groups and branches across the UK providing support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.

Survivors are helped through insight and care to regain some quality of life through a wide range of services including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-integration, community outreach and respite care.

Morris Property were delighted to be able to help such a vital charity with an important cause and hope that our donation will go some way in helping with rehabilitation of those with brain injuries.
