Leading Shrewsbury company Morris Property has appointed Steve Flavell as senior contracts manager to help build on its success.
Steve will oversee its construction wing, provide a link between senior management and construction sites and develop and improve current systems as part of the company’s growth strategy.
He explained: “I am passionate about my work and wanted a new challenge. Morris Property is a go-ahead company with a reputation for quality developments; it was an opportunity I could not turn down.”
Steve has 30 years industry experience. He was formerly senior contracts manager at Oswestry building company Pave Aways and previously worked at construction company Frank Galliers Ltd.
His new post reunites him with former Galliers managing director Ian Galliers who is chief executive of Morris Property.
Ian Galliers said: “We are delighted Steve has joined our team as his energy and experience will be a real asset. His work will also support our moves to achieve ISO accreditation to assist with future tendering processes.”
The company’s current construction projects include the Oak Tree Centre at Milton Keynes for church and community use and the prestigious Beaufort Ridge housing development at The Mount, Shrewsbury.
Morris Property is part of a fifth generation family business working in property investment and management, new build residential and commercial developments and restoration schemes.
