What made you choose to do an apprenticeship with us?
I heard that the Morris Group was a top quality company from family and friends and I was interested in developing my Joinery skills. I saw that the Morris Joinery apprenticeship would enable me to grow my skills whilst learning.
What was your first day like?
My first day was good, and I felt comfortable. Everyone was really helpful and friendly.
What do you most enjoy about your apprenticeship?
I enjoy how much more I get to learn and experience, and like how everyone helps me to develop my skills.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
I would like to continue working at Morris Joinery or within another Joinery workshop.
What would you say to other people considering an apprenticeship?
I would tell them to take one because you learn while you earn! An apprenticeship has also allowed me to learn more and apply my skills more than a regular college course.
