As a fifth-generation family business, we greatly value our people and recognise that their health and wellbeing is paramount to our success. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment across all our live construction sites and offices.
We believe that happy and healthy employees are more productive, engaged, and contribute significantly to our company’s long-term growth. This commitment encompasses creating a culture of respect, open communication, and a genuine concern for the mental and physical health of every member of our team.
Championing mental health
Over two-thirds of professionals in the construction and surveying sectors believe there is a stigma associated with mental health, hindering open conversations*. Alex Morris, our Senior Quantity Surveyor, is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, stating, “Just as we would seek medical attention for physical health issues, we must treat mental health with the same importance.”

Supporting our teams
To provide accessible support, we have appointed Mental Health First Aiders across our live sites. These trained individuals are equipped to identify potential mental health challenges and guide colleagues towards appropriate support resources. Advice and support is also available from the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All Morris Property employees have access to our 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided by TELUS Health. This valuable resource offers confidential support, health assessments, and guidance to enhance overall employee wellbeing.
Winter wellbeing tips for Construction
