Planning permission has been granted for a new warehouse unit on part of a five-acre site at Waterloo Road, Ketley, the former site of the Shropshire Star printing works.
The 45,000 ft2 unit, which includes warehouse and office space with parking for 54 cars, will be built by our trusted construction team who have extensive experience building commercial projects within Telford. It will be well constructed, using high-quality materials targeting reducing running costs and carbon footprint.
Liz Lowe, Head of Development at Morris Property, commented:
“We are very excited about this scheme. Redevelopment will bring much-needed employment opportunities back to the site and continues our commitment to investment in Telford & Wrekin, creating high-quality units for today’s business occupiers.
“We have worked closely with Telford & Wrekin Planning Department team who have been collaborative and proactive in bringing forward this application within expedient timelines. This is extremely helpful in assisting developers with managing potential occupiers’ timescales.”
