A growing logistics specialist has called on us to deliver building improvements at its chilled food and warehousing hub in Telford.
We won the £2.4m contract to provide a new two-storey office block and canteen, additional car parking and to refurbish the operations office at CML F&L Ltd at Brockton Business Park, Halesfield.
The company, which stores and delivers chilled and ambient food products to supermarkets across the country, has expanded and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
James West, Chief Operating Officer, said: “We were awarded the contract following a competitive tender and our ability to deliver the scheme within the required 25-week programme. It is a busy site with vehicles arriving and departing around the clock so we will work closely with the client to ensure no disruption to its operations.
“Partnership working is important to us as we focus on providing quality work on time and on budget.”
The scheme includes creating more than 100 parking spaces in existing areas and an improved entrance to cope with the growth in number of vehicles visiting the site.
