Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre

We were commissioned to modernise this tired leisure facility in Telford in 2017, with work carried out in two phases.

During the first phase we installed new showers, 13 toilets and additional changing room space.

In the second phase we refurbished the existing ski lodge, with a new entrance area, state-of-the art, extended commercial kitchen, a large open space for entertainment and a new-look bar. Externally, the traditional brick building was timber-clad, with an additional retaining wall built followed by landscaping.

Revamp gives Centre the edge

The investment by Telford & Wrekin Council supported the growing number of skiers and snowboarders in the area and made it a more attractive venue to the wider community. Visitors test their skills on the 85-metre dry slope or start on the nursery slope, plus sports enthusiasts use the adjacent new astro turf sports field.
