Udlington Manor was purchased with a view to converting it into a luxury nursing home to join the growing portfolio of Morris Care homes – Isle Court Nursing Home.

In 2017 a major extension delivered a further two storeys, 24-bedroom extension wing including day rooms, assisted bathrooms and specialist dementia facilities. Completed in two phases the first project also involved creating an expansive new car parking area and the second phase, building the home extension on the site of the former car park.

The project resulted in a seamless connection to the existing period building with the new wing enjoying views onto extensively landscaped gardens with new planting schemes blending with the original and including a decorative paved external seating area.

Morris Care and its assets were subsequently sold in 2023.
